Graflix

Until 2020 I almost exclusively focused on machine learning and data engineering. I was always interested in web technologies but have never gotten around to properly learning it. Therefore, to widen my skillset (and also to get a break from Python, Jupyter notebooks and writing ML training scripts for a while), I used the time I was given by the first Covid-related lockdown in 2020 to build Graflix. It’s a website to browse and stream recorded movies, written in Vue.js and Node.js. I deploy it using Docker and docker-compose on my Raspberry Pi.
